Recent reports about a split between the celebrity couple, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, has shocked the fan base. The news broke after Cannon revealed that not all was well in paradise and the two had been living in separate houses for quite some time.

While there are many rumors to nitpick about why they are splitting, the ones that stand out the most involve infidelity. Allegedly, Mariah thinks that Cannon has been cheating on her, but no proof of this has yet to make it out to the public.

Beyond that, rumors are blaming Mariah for the split between the two. The reports allege that Mariah has body image issues and constantly needs reassurance to believe that she's beautiful. Apparently, this was working out for the couple at first, but has since taken a strong turn for the worse.

Since Cannon started to take it easy on complimenting his wife all the time about her looks, she began to assume that he was cheating on her while he went off to work. However, none of these allegations have been confirmed as true, the only thing that can be said for certain is that the whole thing is not looking good.

Setting aside all the drama for a moment, the worse part about it all is that their kids are involved. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have two young children together, Monroe and Moroccan. As it stands, the couple is still married, but allegedly Nick Cannon is going to file for divorce sometime soon.
