The Huskies are looking for their first championship after Kevin Ollie replaced Huskies legendary head coach Jim Calhoun following his retirement back in 2012. The Huskies recently defeated the Florida Gators by the final score of 63-53 in the Final Four round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday April 5. The Huskies are attempting to win their fourth ever NCAA Championship tonight.

"We all play the game of basketball to compete against the best," said Huskies star player Shabazz Napier to reporters. "This is one of them games. ... They worked hard to get to this point and we did too. We're going to do our best to get this 'W."

The Wildcats must defeat the Huskies in order to clinch the 2014 NCAA Championship this evening. The Wildcats are attempting to win their ninth ever NCAA Championship tonight. The Wildcats recently defeated the Wisconsin Badgers by the final score of 74-73 in the Final Four round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday April 5.

"We just had too much talent and we saw in spurts how good we could be," said Wildcats power forward Julius Randle to reporters. "So it just felt like it was a matter of time before it clicked."
