The Florida Gators (32-2) will battle the Albany Great Danes (19-14) at the Amway Center this afternoon in Orlando, FL.

In South Region this afternoon, it is time for the top overall seed Florida Gators to start their journey for a national championship as they battle the 16-seed Albany Great Danes in the Second Round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

Head coach Billy Donovan and his Gators are undoubtedly the best college basketball team in the nation so far. The Florida Gators proved that this past weekend when they won the SEC Tournament title against the Kentucky Wildcats. They have won more than 20 games in a row, and have their eyes set on the ultimate prize in college basketball: the NCAA Tournament.

The Albany Great Danes were able to advance to this afternoon's after they won a first round match up in Dayton, Ohio on Tuesday night versus the Mount St. Mary's by the final score of 71-64. Now, the Albany Great Danes will attempt to become the first 16-seed to defeat a number one ranked team, something that has never been done before in the history of March Madness.
