The Cal Poly Mustangs (13-19) will battle the Texas Southern Tigers (19-14) at the University of Dayton Arena tonight in Dayton, OH.

Tonight, the 2014 NCAA Tournament continues with the last two games of the First Four in Dayton, and the first game will be a matchup of two 16-seeds when Cal Poly Mustangs will play against the Texas Southern Tigers for the opportunity to face undefeated Wichita State Shockers on Friday night.

Cal Poly is no doubt the real Cinderella out of the entire early group. After a tough season, the Mustangs played a lot better during the Big West Tournament and ended up winning the entire tournament, gaining the right to enter the NCAA Tournament 2014 First Four round. The Mustangs may have a horrible 13-19 record, but the fact of the matter is that Cal Poly earned their right to play Texas Southern tonight at the University of Dayton Arena. The Mustangs will look to surprise everyone during this year's March Madness if they can get a major win tonight.

Texas Southern Tigers look to stop Cal Poly's Cinderella dream when comes into tonight's game with a record of 19-14 in addition to being the 2014 champions of the SWAC. The Tigers also currently on a nine-game winning streak.
