'Manhattan Love Story' Premiere Spoilers, ABC Start Time: New Romantic Comedy Series Airs Sept. 30

'Manhattan Love Story', a romantic comedy series created and written by Jeff Lowell, is all set to premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 8:30 pm ET on ABC/7.

The official synopsis of 'Manhattan Love Story' says that the series will tell the story of a new couple's journey and the questions they are actually thinking about from the moment they begin a relationship.

The new show centers on Dana (Analeigh Tipton) and Peter (Jake McDorman), who meet through unexpected circumstances prior to embarking on a new relationship. Similar to other romantic pairings, viewers will be watching the show to see if this couple will make it after all.

So what is 'Manhattan Love Story' all about? Just think of young urbanites watching people walk down the street, as stereotypical male and female mannerisms are apparent and common. This is precisely the mindset of 'Manhattan Love Story'. Dana is a naive city newcomer with ambition, while Peter has been in New York for some time and they are fated to be together.

However, her sorority sister (Jade Catta-Preta) and his brother (Nicolas Wright), a married couple who set them up, are the only ones that feel they are meant to be. But that occurs before Peter's grand romantic make-up gesture, which changes the game up entirely

According to a review in Newsday.com, there might be something smartly modern buried deep inside 'Manhattan Love Story', but the pilot is too busy displaying its array of connected devices and social media portals. "While they are front and center, actual human behavior is back-burner," the report says.
