Christian singer Mandisa received five Dove Award nominations yesterday including Artist of the Year.

She was also nominated for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year for Overcomer, Song of the Year, Contemporary Christian Performance of the Year and Short Form Video of the Year for the song "Overcomer."

The song was so popular this year it was at No. 1 on the national Christian Audience Chart for 12 weeks.

Mandisa recently announced that her new remix project, Get Up: The Remixes, will be released on September 16.

The album will consist of 11 tracks, and will turn some of Mandisa's hits into dance jams.

Mandisa's current single is "Back to You" which hit the No. 7 spot on the national Christian Audience chart. It is the follow up to the No. 1 song "Overcomer."

Mandisa will be heading on tour with Casting Crowns and Sidewalk Prophets in September through 39 cities on the Thrive tour. A few of the shows will feature Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Hillsong United as well.
