Christian Music star, Mandisa, is currently at No.1 on the Billboard charts for her hit single " Overcomer" and is showing her love by raising awareness for Breast Cancer at last Sundays NFL network football game. The Christian music star sang her heart out at the 49ers and Texans game on Sunday night while survivors of Breast cancer joined her on stage. The NFL and their players Association are supporting the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by having their annual screening fundraiser "A Crucial Catch: Annual Screening Saves Lives". The fundraiser reminds women about the importance of getting a mammogram screen if you are 40 and older. 

Mandisa will also be joining Country artists such as LeAnn Rimes, during Grand Ole Opry's "Women Rock for the Cure" at the "Opry Goes Pink Show" on Tuesday, Oct. 22nd. The singers new hit single "Overcomer" is about what it takes to overcome every day battles in life with having faith and simply hope. The music video starring former U.S Congresswomen Gabby Giffords, Captain Mark Kelly, and Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton prove a point by showing some of the most inspirational people in the public eye that have fought courageous battles. " We chose each of them because when we thought of who has been an example of an overcomer in a very public battle, it is hard to imagine anyone more appropriate than the amazing people in my video." stated Mandisa. Mandisa's "Overcomer" is an inspiration to all as she had wished , by reminding people that all you need is fath and hope to overcome the most extroadinary battles.
