Manchester United Transfer News: Patrice Evra May Join Juventus, Arturo Vidal to Move to Old Trafford?
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, a Sky Italia reporter, Manchester United is not utilizing Patrice Evra's likely transfer to Juventus as a way to clinch a deal for Arturo Vidal.
In his blog, Di Marzio noted that as far as Manchester United is concerned, Vidal's future is not related with Evra negotiations.
He wrote, "Juventus and Manchester United have been negotiating for Evra in the past few days, but they have not been discussing Arturo Vidal recently. The two clubs had discussed him in the past, but despite reports to the contrary, Juventus and Manchester United didn't restart the talks about the Chilean international. At the moment there is no on going negotiation; Manchester United has yet to make another advance for Vidal."
Still, Di Marzio says that he is not expecting the 33-year-old footballer to join Juventus, which was reported in another blog. It is expected that the deal will provide Manchester United with a €2 million (about $ 2,721,540) in terms of a transfer fee and freeing up wages for Evra, who along with Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, are on the exist list of Manchester United.
Meanwhile, recent reports says that the slow going talks about Vidal transfer has filled the fans of Manchester United with nerves. In recent times, Manchester United and failed transfer talks have become synonymous.
Last summer, the Scottish football manager David Moyes failed to acquire footballers like Daniele De Rossi, Thiago Alcantara, Sami Khedirea and Cesc Fabregas. This eventually compelled Manchester United to sign Marouane Fellaini. Although Louis van Gall will take up the reins of Manchester United after Netherland's fixture at the 2014 World Cup ends on Saturday, already losses of business are taking place at the Premier League club.
While Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw have signed in with Manchester United and Evra, Alexander Buttner and Ferdinand are on the verge of leaving the club; Van Gaal is expecting to strengthen the team by inducting fresh talent across the board.
