Disney is about to release a movie about Maleficent, the villain from the popular Disney movie "Sleeping Beauty." Maleficent, the villain from the Disney film, will be played by Angelina Jolie and the story will detail her life before her appearance in "Sleeping Beauty."

Elle Fanning plays Aurora, another main character in the movie. The trailer for "Maleficent" features Jolie lurking around in a magical forest while Fanning does a voiceover. She says, "I know who you are. You've been watching over me my whole life. I know you're there. Your shadow, it's been following me ever since I was small. Don't be afraid."

Jolie spoke at Disney's D23 convention about the film and said, "Since I was a little girl, Maleficent was always my favorite. I was terrified of her, but I was also drawn to her. I wanted to know more about her. She had this elegance and grace, yet she was wonderfully, deliciously cruel.
