Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 Conspiracy Theories: Pilot Becomes New ‘Chief Suspect'
It has been reported that Malaysia's criminal investigation on the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 peg its pilot as "Chief Suspect" according to the Sunday Times.
Official conclusions have yet to be published, but details have spread that Captain Zaharie Shah is the most likely the perpetrator if deliberate human action is to blame.
The flight vanished on March 8, 2014 and according to independent.co.uk, "Investigators have previously refused to "clear" the captain's flight simulator of suspicious activity, and it now appears they found evidence of routes programmed to take a plane far out into the Indian Ocean and practising landing using a short runway on an island."
Also, according to the Times, the police have investigated that the 53-year-old captain had absolutely no commitments either socially or for work after the date of the disappearance.
But the Times reported as per independent.co.uk, "The police investigation is still ongoing. To date no conclusions can be made as to the contributor to the incident and it would be sub judice to say so. Nevertheless, the police are still looking into all possible angles."
While this new information shines light on the matter from a difference perspective, it is not conclusive, "The criminal inquiry does not rule out the possibility the plane was lost due to mechanical failure or terrorism, but the police view is that if it was the result of human action, the captain was the most likely perpetrator," according to the sundaytimes.co.uk.
The flight MH370 which was lost on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 passengers and crew on March 8 remains to be one of the greatest mysteries in aviation history.
