Following reports about dating Latina superstar Jennifer Lopez, former 'Dancing with the Stars' pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy is swarmed with dating rumors once again, but this time it's about his ex-fiancée Karina Smirnoff.

Even though previous reports linked the pro dancer to J Lo, Chmerkovskiy opted to keep his silence about his alleged relationship with the former 'American Idol' judge. The 45-year-old singer-actress, on the other hand, allegedly told reporters that she intends to stay single following her divorce with Puerto Rican singer Marc Anthony.

Based on the reports, J Lo reportedly told the press that she feels hesitant about bringing another man into her children's live as her split with Anthony allegedly had a huge impact on them.

Stepping back to Maks, he had this to say during an interview on 'Good Day New York' recently, "Can't I have friends? It seems that any person I come in contact with if it's a girl, a female all of a sudden there is a romance."

Other reports say that there's a chance Maksim will be getting back together with his ex-fiancée, Karina Smirnoff. Life & Style reported that both Karina and Maks, DWTS contestants, called off their engagement in 2009. However, the source reports that Maksim has allegedly proposed to Karina again.

As it stands, these dating rumors remain unconfirmed, but atleast fans have some interesting ideas to think about when considering their favorite professional Ukrainian dancer.
