Maks Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis have been the subjects of dating rumors for quite a while now, and things do not seem to be changing anytime soon. While it has been reported that the former 'Dancing With The Stars' partners are strictly friends, many fans continue to believe otherwise.

Even though nothing has been officially confirmed, and it still remains a mystery as to who Maks is dating (if anyone at all), fans remain vigilant for clues.

While the rumors about Maks and Meryl have taken a back step, the 34-year-old 'DWTS' pro is now linked to actress and fashion designer Jennifer Lopez. JLo and Maks had their first encounter on November 2013 during a production number at the American Music Awards.

Lopez recently ended her relationship with ex-boyfriend Casper Smart. However, now that she is ready to find love again, she denies the dating rumors about Maks. JLo admits that she committed mistakes in jumping into relationships too soon and expressed her desire for long term commitments rather than short flings.

"Everybody has seen that I make mistakes," Lopez told Elle UK, "Every single album I have ever made is about love. But I am not going to give up. I have to look at what I do wrong. I rush in, I get swept up, I ignore the signs. But so many of us are guilty of these things," she said.

Meanwhile, in his interview with 'Good Day New York', Maks openly expressed his amusement of rumors of him linked romantically to JLo when he was just being friendly. The news spread virally when the two were spotted exceptionally sweet after Lopez's concert in Connecticut last June.

In response, Maks said, "Can I have friends? It seems that any person I come in contact with if it's a girl, a female all of a sudden there is a romance."
