'Mad Men' Final Season Like 'Breaking Bad' AMC to Split Over Two Years, Watch FULL Episodes Here

"Mad Men" final season will take a page of out "Breaking Bad" playbook and split final season into two years.

AMC had wild success doing it with "Breaking Bad" as the climatic ending of the series currently is getting rave reviews with only two episodes left.

So "Mad Men" will now air the first 7 episodes of their final season Spring 2014 and the final 7 episodes the following year in 2015.

The first seven shows will go under the title "The Beginning." and the second group will be shown under the title "The End of an Era."

This will definitely add to more suspense of the series of the first eight episodes are strong, but also could kill the momentum of the show too. "Breaking Bad" was a special show and not every show will work in the same way.

Matthew Weiner had this to say about splitting the final season, "We plan to take advantage of this chance to have a more elaborate story told in two parts, which can resonate a little bit longer in the minds of our audience."
