MacBook Air Retina 2014 Release Date News: Fans Disappointed at Silence From Apple On New Laptop
Much to the delight of its fans, Apple released the Retina display for its array of MacBook Pro devices some time ago. This year, fans were eagerly waiting for Apple to announce the release date of its latest MacBook Air Retina Display at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco, California.
However, the hopes of the fans were crushed as there was no announcement whatsoever from the Cupertino-headquartered tech titan regarding the release of a new ultra-portable laptop at the recently concluded WWDC.
Earlier rumors claimed that Apple would launch its MacBook Air Retina Display this year with an announcement during the WWDC. According to some anonymous sources, rumors emerged saying that the latest Apple notebook would come with a 12-inch display screen and would be thinner compared to the previous models.
In fact, earlier in 2013, Apple received a patent for a trackpad incorporating sensors that could detect movements. It was reported in some sections that this new device would replace conventional keyboard buttons. Rather than pushing buttons, a person using a MacBook would just need to "drift" or hover his or her fingers on a particular area activating the sensor, which would then compute what the user intended.
While it may appear that the rumor originated from some weird sci-fi movie, we are aware of Apple's capabilities and believe that the company can actually produce this marvel. All this, provided they movie forward with its creation.
Keeping this in view, we hope that Apple is focusing on the MacBook Air Retina Display and will surprise all of us with its release sometime by the end of this year.
