After a recent Twitter post by 'Lost Girl' actress Anna Silk, fans learned that the show will be concluded at the end of Season 5. Despite the discouraging news, Silk remains optimistic in a recent interview.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Silk felt that producers could have added another season, but was still satisfied with how the series ended anyway, she said, "Honestly, I thought we might get one more ... It's time, in a way. In terms of the story, I think we could have done another. But I'm happy that we're saying goodbye in a particularly strong season, and I'm pleased that we're gonna go out with a bang."

The actress goes on to say that she's excited about how her character developed in the final season of 'Lost Girl', she said, "There's just something very clear-headed about my character this year. She's been through so much on this show."

Fans of the series can recall that the story can end in two possible ways when considering Bo's love life. While many fans are rooting for Team Dyson, others are on Team Lauren's side.

Silk made mention that there's no way that the entire fan base can be happy with who Bo ends up with in the end, however, she says that in the sci-fi world, that's just how things are. She said in the interview, "I think the sci-fi world that 'Lost Girl' lives in lends itself to everyone being happy and no one being happy."

Beyond all that, Silk talked about how much she admires the show's fan base, and went on to talk about the first time she went to a sci-fi convention.

"The first time I went to one, I thought, everyone's an adult, for the most part, but the child part of their imagination never shut down. It never turned off. I think that's cool. They have this capacity to dream," she stated.

Some fans are left wondering why 'Lost Girl' producers seemed to abruptly end the great series right then and there in Season 5. Others connect the dots and realize that many fans of the show say that it worsened with each sequential season.
