The Los Angeles Clippers (44-20) will play against the Phoenix Suns (36-26) at the Staples Center tonight in Los Angeles.

Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe might play tonight versus his former team, the high-flying Los Angeles Clippers. Bledsoe has not been available to play since undergoing surgery for a torn right meniscus on Jan. 10. Bledsoe was averaging career highs of 18.0 points and 5.8 assists in his first season as a member of the Suns after spending three years with the Clippers, who traded him on July 10.

Phoenix's second-leading scorer is slated to return Wednesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but Suns Head Coach Jeff Hornacek did not rule out him playing Monday.

"I'm looking forward to it," said Bledsoe to reporters. "The doctors have cleared me to play so I'm ready to go."

Phoenix fell into a tie with the Memphis Grizzles in the 8th and final spot in the Western Conference after a 113-107 defeat versus the Golden State Warriors yesterday. The Grizzlies hold the tiebreaker because of their 3-0 record versus the Suns this season, play their next game on Tuesday versus the Portland Trailblazers.

Los Angeles blew an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter, but Chris Paul's layup with 55 seconds remaining in the game proved to be the game winner when the Clippers beat the Atlanta Hawks by the final score of 109-108 on Saturday. In addition, the Clippers also needed DeAndre Jordan's block and Paul's steal along with a missed free throw from Jeff Teague to secure the victory.Los Angeles was coming off a 48-point dominant performance against the rival Lakers on Thursday night, its biggest lopsided win in franchise history.

"The name of the game is winning. So obviously, we're happy we won. But there's a lot of things we need to clean up," said Paul to the reporters after the game.
