Jamal Crawford scored 36 points to aid the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder by the final score of 125-117 yesterday afternoon.

The Thunder's superstar Kevin Durant scored 42 points, but such performances are almost ordinary from him. Crawford, in contrast, averages about 19 points.

Crawford has always been known to be a streaky shooter in his NBA career, but Sunday afternoon he was unstoppable. He made five of eight 3-pointers, many of which were launched from well beyond the 3-point line.

"Jamal Crawford comes across halfcourt shooting," said Durant to reporters after the game versus the Clippers adding. "You've got confidence once you start seeing the ball go in the rim."

A day after driving the Los Angeles Clippers to a victory over the top team in the Western Conference, Crawford will attempt to continue his remarkable stretch against one of the worst teams in the NBA as they visit the New Orleans Pelicans tonight.

New Orleans lost in an agonizing manner on Saturday when the Pelicans gave up a dunk with 0.9 seconds left in the game, to lose by the final score of 94-93 to the Wizards.
