Did Lorde Diss Justin Beiber and Harry Styles of One Direction? "Royals" Singer Gets Attacked By Fans Via Twitter and Facebook [Video]

It's anyone's guess how the rumor that Lorde dissed Justin Bieber and Harry Styles on Twitter was started, but now the "Royals" songstress has invoked the wrath of millions of young Beliebers and Directioners. Lorde allegedly called Justin Bieber and Harry Styles "ugly," even though there is no documentation of the insult on Twitter or Facebook. Bieber's fans have been known to go overboard on "defending" their idol and this is definitely the case this time.

All of the tweets that Beliebers sent to Lorde about her boyfriend are mean, and some of them are even racist. So far, Lorde and her boyfriend have taken the high road and remained silent against the attackers. Hopefully, her and her management will just lay low until the Beliebers find another target to attack in the name of Justin.

One Direction fans didn't want to be left out of the action either, and they quickly took up arms in defense of Harry Styles. The best part about all of this is that Lorde recently tweeted about how awesome the 1D concert was that she attended in October! She's obviously a fan of the band. Can't we just all get along?

Some critics are wondering if Justin and Harry will come out to set the record straight so their fans leave Lorde and her boyfriend alone. Although they aren't responsible for everything their fans do, it would be a display of good will towards Lorde if they took up for her and reigned in their fans a little bit.
