Movie goers are waiting in heightened anticipation for the reappearance of The Lone Ranger to hit the movie theaters.

The movie is scheduled to hit the big screens over the 4th of July holiday. The film is produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films, and directed by Gore Verbinski.

Jerry Bruckheimer produced the epic Pirates of the Caribbean movies that Johnny Depp was apart of as well. 

The person of The Lone Ranger is no stranger to older fans who remember the hit television show. This western hero has been around quite a long time now, and this new release should breathe some fresh adventure and excitement into this iconic western figure for younger audiences.

A huge piece in making this re-make successful was getting Johnny Depp on board and having him play a side kick role. 

In the new 2013 release of The Lone Ranger, Armie Hammer plays the role of John Reid, a man of the law, who discovers that the ethics of the Wild West are often settled with a gun. As the movie plot unfolds, Reid meets Johnny Depp who plays the role of Tonto. As Tonto shares with Reid stories of corruption and greed in the old West, Reid is transformed into the Lone Ranger hero, who joins with Tonto to fight injustice in the land. The Director of the film has recreated the Lone Ranger figure for today's audiences and brought new excitement and action to the screen. 

The villan in this movie is a greedy industrialist, Latham Cole, who uses the recent invention of the railroad to increase his own personal wealth and power. Cole's evil designs will totally reshape the direction and morality of the old West. Into the depth of corruption and greed ride the masked hero, the Lone Ranger, and Tonto to confront this evil and bring law and justice to the land. Movie goers will be thrilled to see Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp working their magic together and creating a movie sensation! This will be one of the great movies of the summer.
