A video of 3-year-old Matthew Beltran went viral on the Internet for his persuasive debating skills with his mother to eat a cupcake. Popular TV show host Ellen Degeneres could not resist and invited them both on her show for a pleasant surprise.

Linda and her 3-year-old son, better known as Mateo, appeared on Ellen on Tuesday. During the interview, Linda explained that Mateo only calls her by name when he is being argumentative and try to get his way.

In the Viral video Mateo is taped trying to get his mom to understand why he and his baby brother should have cupcakes. Ellen impressed by the cute video of Mateo surprised him with a mountain of cupcakes.

The surprises did not stop there; Ellen surprised Linda with a ten thousand dollar check at the end of the show. She explained that she partnered with Shutterfly to help Linda and her husband move out of their parents' house while Mateo's dad gets through college.

Mateo's video has received almost 5 million video views.
