LG G3 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Comparison: Which is a Better Buy? [VIDEO]

While LG G3, the latest smartphone from LG's stable, has been praised for being a superior phone with QHD display and remarkable specs, many have already started wondering when Samsung will release Galaxy S6, next flagship smartphone in the Galaxy series.

Although the Samsung has yet to confirm the release date or specs of Galaxy S6, it can be said that hardly any handset, barring the Galaxy Note 3, can stand up to the LG G3.

The first and foremost advantage of the LG G3 is its QHD display having a 2560 x 1440 resolution. Compared to it, the Samsung Note 3 has a full HD display with a 1920 X 1080 resolution.

Even the larger screen of the Samsung Note 3 does not hold a candle to the LG G3. Despite the larger 5.7-inch screen of Note 3, its pixel density drops to about 386. On the other hand, the G3, with its smaller screen and higher resolution, boasts a sharper and clearer 534-pixel density.

As far as the speed of the two handsets is concerned, they are fairly close with the G3 packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core 2.5GHz Krait 400 processor, while the Note 3 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.3GHz Krait 400 processor.

Both Samsung Note 3 and LG G3 share the same 3GB RAM, but the G3 only offers the 3GB RAM with a 32GB variant, with a 16GB variant getting only 2GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Note 3 offers 3GB of RAM with all its 16GB/ 32GB/ 64GB variants.

In addition, the two devices also have the same 13MP camera, but the G3 comes with dual-LED flash and an optical image stabilizer. Nevertheless, both Samsung Note 3 and LG G3 can record at the same 2160p quality video at 30fps.

Price wise, the G3 is more expensive than the Note 3 by a margin of $250. The Note 3 is available for about $530 (€400), while the G3 sells for around $780 (€600).
