LG G Watch vs Motorola Moto 360 Comparison Review: Moto 360 Specs Still Unconfirmed
The market for wearable devices is now on the rise as various tech giants are rushing to release their own versions of smart watches. Samsung has gone with their Galaxy Gear that can be paired with their flagship smartphones, while Apple is on the verge of unveiling their upcoming iWatch.
LG and Motorola have created their own line of wearable smart devices, the G Watch and the Moto 360 respectively. The two watches are distinctively different from one another, especially in the aspect of design. The G Watch is already out on the market while the Moto 360 has not yet been released.
First, the G Watch goes with a square design with a 1.65-inch IPS screen that comes with a 280 x 280 resolution. On the other hand, the Moto 360 sports a more classic round-face design. The details for the screen size and resolution for the Moto 360 are still not released, but there are rumors that the Motorola watch uses a special low power custom made OLED display.
Spec-wise, the G Watch is run by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU at 1.2GHz. It also has a 512MB internal RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Details on screen specifications and internal hardware of the Moto 360 are still unknown. There are however, rumors that the watch will be able to support Qi-wireless charging, much like what's found in the Nexus 5 and Nokia handsets.
Until the Moto 360 is released, details about its offered features will remain a secret to the company itself. The G Watch though is reported to be listed as IP67 dust and water resistant and comes with a Bluetooth 4.0 LE for connecting to an Android phone.
While the Moto 360 has little concrete information about it circulating the Internet's media outlets, the rumors surrounding it peg it as a smart buy.
