The final season of the American animated television series entitled 'The Legend of Korra' was released last October 3, 2014. The series was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. This season will run until the thirteenth episode all under the animation of Studio Mir.

The setting of this series is a fictional universe where people have the power to bend or manipulate the elements of earth, air, fire and water. A person, named Avatar, can bend all the four elements and is tasked to maintain the equilibrium in the world.

Moreover, the setting of the last season is three years after that of the previous season. It will revolve on Avatar Korra's self-discovery journey after her fight with Zaheer which caused her psychological and physical injuries. It will also deal with the unrest in Kingdom called Earth where a former officer of Suyin Beifong's service, Kuvira, seeks to grab power by the force of military.

The first episode in this season is the 40th episode in the whole series and is entitled "After All These Years" which was released October 3.

It centered on the events that took place after three years after the previous episode. The second episode is entitled "Korra Alone" and was released last October 10. That episode contained flashbacks of a slowly recovering Korra. The third episode was released last October 17 and is entitled "The Coronation" which revolved on the Wu's coronation. The fourth episode was released on October 24 and carried the title "The Calling."
