'Legend of Korra' Season 4 News: Korra Team Bids Farewell at NYC Comic Con, Reveals New Concept Art [VIDEO]

At the 2014 New York Comic Con on Oct. 9, the cast and creators of the 'Legend of Korra' bid their fans an emotional farewell, and as the show is drawing to a close, this could possibly be the last appearance of the panel.

According to IGN, the 'Legend of Korra' panel actually did not follow the usual route, as there was no moderator or questions from the audience. In fact, the Korra team actually meant to say thank you and farewell, with each panelist talking about his or her experience with the show, while bidding farewell.

After Book Four (Season 4), there will be no more Korra episodes. Nevertheless, Janet Varney (the voice of Korra) observed, "I believe this show is going to exist forever because it's just that [expletive] good!." She paused and then said with a grin, "Sorry, I cursed Nickelodeon. The spirit took me!"

Varney continued, "If I haven't said it 1000 times, maybe this will be the 1000th. I have never worked on anything better than this show. I can't imagine working on anything better than this show. I am so honored. I don't know how it happened!"

Speaking on the occasion, PJ Byrne (voice of Bolin) stated, "I really believe we have the best fans on Earth."

He described the series creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko as "Some of the best creative minds alive."

Byrne went on to add, "This show is coming to an end, but what I am so overly, overly excited about is I can't wait for the next project that is hiding in the deep, dark crevices of their brain. If it's a cartoon, if it's live-action, whatever it is. I think the world is so lucky to see what's coming next from those two guys' minds."

While the producers remained silent on the plot turns that may come, a presentation by Konietzko on the designs for Book Four did reveal some interesting facts about the character Kuvira. In fact, owing to the time jump, the designs in Book Four showcased new looks for almost all the characters.

Konietzko said they decided she would be the main villain in Book Four (while writing Book Three) and began to adapt her to that role. In addition, the 'Legend of Korra' team also disclosed a number of new concept art images as well as a look at the different uniforms/ranks in Kuvira's military.
