After a trailer in the Netherlands aired for "Legend of Korra" Season three, The Book of Change, fans of the show that have analyzed the footage say at least one of the major oppositional forces could be the Order of the White Lotus, an organization that trained and developed Korra's abilities in season one.  

The new trailer leaked for "The Legend of Korra" in the Netherlands sparked heavy speculation on what forces will be unleashed (dragons), which of the main characters will be entering the ring, and what major enemies will be cropping up. From one screen shot it appears like one of the enemies may be the white lotus.

In the clip, one member of The Order of the White Lotus seems to be attacking an unknown figure using his fire-bending ability.

The figure is flipping over the fire-bender to get in to a secretive looking building. What could he/she want that has been forbidden by the White Lotus, and considering the height of the flip and the small swirl of air that can be seen faintly in the space around the intruder, is it possible that this mystery figure is an air-bender?  

If so, then the choices of who it may be are narrowed down to the three air-bending characters of the show: Korra, Tezin, and Jinora.

Since Korra was seen in the previous three clips exhibiting the water, earth, and air elements, it seems likely that this is something that involves her too.

Why, though, would the White Lotus seek to impede Korra? Have the protectors of the avatar been infiltrated by forces engaged in an evil conspiracy? Is there something about The Order of the White Lotus that is not entirely what it seems?

The release date may be announced this summer, but until the new season is revealed we can only guess at the true story that will be unfurled in season 3.
