Dragons are set to feature in the new season of the Legend of Korra, according to a new leaked video, which is sure to delight many fans of the hugely popular series.

According to a trailer that can be seen below, there will be fire breathing dragon's on the loose in the newly released season this year.

If you look closely at the 13 second trailer aired in the Netherlands, that can be found below, you can see a split-second image of what appears to be a fully-grown, majestic dragon spreading its wings in front of an ordinary human being.

Where did this dragon come from? We know that a certain past incarnation of the Avatar, Avatar Roku, possessed a fire-breathing lizard pet, similar to Aang's Appa.

We also know that Aang and Zuko allegedly uncovered the last dragons when they sought the origin for firebending. So, is it possible that some of these dragons existed elsewhere without anyone knowing it?

And of course dragons may just be there because the mystical/spiritual and physical worlds were brought together during the previous season.

Whatever the case, we can be sure that we will be in for a surprise as far as the dragon's relative role in the unfolding of the four kingdoms. It's hard to know right now what the inclusion of the dragons in the story will bring.

As far as the release date, there is no definite info on when the coming season will begin, but everyone is waiting patiently and an announcement could come as soon as summer 2014.
