'Legend of Korra' Season 3 Release Date: Book Three Change Trailer Shows New Episodes After Unfortunate Leak (VIDEO)

The first official trailer for "The Legend of Korra: Book 3" has arrived after a couple of new episodes were leaked online.

"Thanks to the shenanigans of Leaky McLeakerpants, we have released the *OFFICIAL* Book 3 trailer early," Bryan Koneitzko, co-creator, wrote on his Tumblr. "Hope you enjoy!"

According to IGN, the other co-creator, Michael Dante DiMartino, said the trailer music was done by composer Jeremy Zuckerman.

"The Legend of Korra returns with Book Three: Change. The epic new season is filled with new characters, adventures and more!" the trailer states.

Earlier this month, there were rumors that "The Legend of Korra" may be released this June, and with the trailer now out it is a possibility. Although, it is unlikely considering Nickeldeon will promote Book 3 during Comic-Con 2014 which is scheduled to be held in San Francisco on July 24.

"Legend of Korra Book 3" is titled Change, which refers to inevitable transformations in the world of Avatar.

DiMartino, animation director and co-creator, explained, "It's all about Korra dealing with the change of the world in this point in time. At the end of Book 2 she says it's a new era. And it really is and we're going to show how Harmonic Convergence and her battle with Unalaq and Vaatu kind of shifted the world a bit."

Meanwhile, in other news Legend of Korra Book 2: Spirits on DVD and Blu-ray is expected to be release on July 1, 2014. Paramount has announced that the release dates would be different for the United States and Canada, but no specific reasons were provided, according to TV Shows on DVD.

"Legend of Korra: Spirits" will be released on DVD in Canada on August 5.
