Lebron James, With or Without His Headband, Will be Ready to Play Tonight When the San Antonio Spurs Come to Town
Lebron James has become the player to watch in the NBA. Winning multiple MVPs and an NBA title, his popularity is as big (if not bigger) than any other player in the history of the NBA. But what has been more popular than Lebron lately? His headband.
In game 6 of the NBA finals, the Miami Heat were losing to the San Antonio Spurs. At that time, Lebron's headband (which most of us have never seen off of him) came off in the fourth quarter. This happened as he blocked a Tim Duncan shot and he never put it back on. He went on to score 16 or his 32 points in the 4th.
Social media launched into a frenzy when this happened, as "Lebron's Headband" became a trending topic worldwide and several "Lebron's Headband" twitter accounts started popping up.
He didn't mind the questions about it either. At the press conference Wednesday in Miami, reporters asked James if he would be wearing the headband tonight. "I'll probably start off with it, man. A little superstitious. If it gets knocked off, then me and him will have a discussion if he will return."
Watch tonight as Lebron James and the Heat (with or without headband) take on the San Antonio Spurs in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
