LeBron James House Burned Down Hoax: Fake News Fuels Fans On Social Media

Much to the relief of LeBron James fans, an article posted on a fake news website, Cream Bmp Daily, saying "'$9 Million Home Set on Fire by Angry Miami Heat Fans" has turned out to be a hoax.

The fake article read, "Lebron James $9 million dollar home was set on fire early this afternoon by heat fans that were upset by his decision to take his talents back to Cleveland."

It adds, "Although teammates Bosh and Allen showed up to the scene for Lebron James; Dwyane Wade was not able to be reached and the damages will cost upwards of $1 million to replace including; trophies, rings and an extensive collection of NBA headbands."

Soon after the article was posted on Monday, many duped social media users because spreading the hoax as genuine news.

However, a disclaimer on Cream Bmp Daily says that the news is not real. The disclaimer reads, "CreamBmp.com Written by comedian CREAM. This website is comprised of satire and parody of current news and urban culture. For entertainment purposes only."

Yet another rider says, "All reports and other information on this page may or may not be 100% accurate. It's not news, its entertainment. All other comments are my personal opinion, but try not to take the (expletive) seriously and come at me ... because I will and do sue. I'm just a young (expletive) tryna get rich," it says.

It further adds, "I do not take credit for any media featured on this site. All featured media is the property of its respected owners or whoever submits it to CreamBmp.com. If your photo appears on this site and you would like it removed, please contact me and I will take it down."
