Lea Michele 'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7 Role and Release Date News, Extended Episode Length

Recently, news broke that 'Glee' star Lea Michele would be appearing in the seventh and final season of 'Sons of Anarchy'. This report has since been confirmed by E! Online.

One a side note, Michele revealed that 'Sons of Anarchy' is one of her favorite shows, and she's happy to be a part of it, "I'll be appearing on an episode of my favorite show @SonsofAnarchy! Thank you so much @Harparbar & @sutterink #SOAFX," she posted over Twitter.

According to FX, Michele will be playing a character named Gertie. The character is said to be "an empathetic truck stop waitress and single mother, who connects with Gemma during a difficult time," an FX representative said.

Sources say Michele will guest star in the episode scheduled to air on October 14. Supposedly, this means that she'll be appearing in the fourth episode of the final season, as a single mom connected to Katey Segal's Gemma Teller Morrow.

Besides Lea Michele's role in 'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7, additional new cast members have been added to the show. Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson, and Malcom Jamal-Warner will play prominent roles in the in show's last installment.

The show is set to return on September 9 at 9 pm on FX Network. Additionally, the producers will treat the fans with an extended season premiere episode 45 minutes longer than it's usual one hour segment.
