After a few months of mourning, Cory Monteith, Lea Michele has finally moved on and is seemingly dating life-coach Matthew Paetz.

At first rumors surrounding the two were mild and didn't implicate seriousness in their relationship, this quickly changed as photos of them together emerged online. Michele and Paetz took a romantic daytime date in Los Angeles on June 27, which was the first time they were photographed in public.

The 27-year-old actress first met Paetz on the set of her new music video, "On My Way."

"It's a new relationship," a source tells PEOPLE, "For a long time, Lea wasn't close to even thinking about getting into a relationship. Cory's death was and will continue to be a struggle for her. She's doing much better now. She's happy and she's enjoying her life."

The new couple was seen in casual clothing with Michele wearing flip-flops while Paetz wore a brown pants and a denim jacket, according to US Mag.

"Lea's not stupid, so she's not jumping into anything. So far, it's an honest and happy relationship. Whatever his past may be, their current relationship is based on honesty," another source told US Weekly.

The source also emphasized that the couple is just starting out, but they seemed to have compatible personalities.

"They are both supportive of each other and what each other has been through in the past," the Michele source tells US Magazine, "They make a good team. Lea's friends say he's a great guy and dotes on her. Lea's found some happiness again."

On a negative note, Paetz has been pegged with being involved with an online "escort" service, but the rumors have not been confirmed nor denied.
