After the long running NBC crime series "Law and Order: SVU" airs its Season 15 Finale episode on May 21, the lives of Junior Detective Nick Amaro and Sergeant Olivia Benson will never be the same as Benson deals with a "life-changing decision."

Wednesday's episode will start at 9:00 p.m. ET and can be viewed online through live stream via the link provided below.

"Amaro's (Danny Pino) recklessness once again makes him the target of Internal Affairs, and he has no choice but to face the consequences. With his professional and personal life at risk, he looks to his friend John Munch [Richard Belzer] for advice. Meanwhile, an online ad for escorts leads to the rape and robbery of several male tourists, and one of the suspects has a surprising connection to Sergeant Benson (Mariska Hargitay) that may change her life forever," according to the official summary of the upcoming episode.

It appears Benson will adopt "Baby John Doe" after a judge passes a verdict that puts an end to the infant being passed around from foster home to foster home. Benson first became attached to the baby when she first tooked at the case earlier this season.

In a recent interview, Pino revealed what fans can expect to see in last episode of the season regarding his tormented character.

"In the finale, Amaro stands to lose not only his family, but his career," said Pino to the Seattle PI. "And it could happen that quickly and that easily, and it's only his current friends and perhaps some very close friends from the past who he has to rely on to get him out of the situation."
