Laurie Cardoza Moore to address WCICC Leadership
Laurie Cardoza-Moore, President of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN) who serves as UN Special Envoy for the World Council of Independent Christian Churches (WCICC) has been invited to address the leaders of WCICC this weekend at their annual Missions Conference being held in Jacksonville, FL. She is expected to address the current situation in Israel with regards to the world's continued efforts to divide its ancient homeland and the unrest in Syria.
Ms. Cardoza-Moore was appointed in 2011 by WCICC President Archbishop John Lupoli to serve as Special Envoy to the UN to represent the council's interests regarding anti-Israel policies, human rights abuses and Jewish-Christian relations.
The World Council of Independent Christian Churches is an alliance of churches, pastors, ministries, Christian schools and individual members in 79 nations around the world. It provides a platform to independent churches that are deprived of the collective support and the privileges of mainline denominations. The WCICC provides direction to churches, chaplains and members for faithful adherence to the Word of God.
Cardoza-Moore will additionally address the growing human rights abuses against Jews and Christians as a result of the Arab spring. Her emphasis will stress the role of the leadership of the WCICC and its' 44 million congregants in their continued responsibility to stand with Israel and our Jewish brethren against the rise of the "new" anti-Semitism around the world.
She will also introduce a resolution supporting Israel in its efforts to defend itself in its biblical homeland, condemn Christian churches and organizations that promote boycott, divestment's and sanctions against Israel. The resolution will also condemn the false narrative that Israel uses Apartheid South Africa attacks against innocent Palestinians. Finally, WCICC also condemns the heretical narrative that Israel is occupying Palestinian land, or that Jesus was a Palestinian that is being propagated by a growing number of Christian denominations.
Notes Cardoza-Moore: "With complete disregard for the dire consequences, the Obama administration continues to threaten the security of the Jewish state, as well as the security of Christian minorities in the Middle East by financially supporting Muslim Brotherhood governments and leaders who wish to destroy America and Israel. We have witnessed an exponential growth of Muslim terrorism worldwide against Christians and Jews as a result of this Administration's weak foreign policy with no end in sight.
She is expected to issue a further call to action for the WCICC participants. As she noted in a recent interview: "We must educate and mobilize Christian leaders and their congregants to stand up and proclaim liberty and freedom against these Muslim extremists, and this means standing against the failed policies of the current administration. In lieu of the Obama administration taking responsibility for leading the free world, prayer is critically important. Christians must put their faith into action now," stated Ms. Cardoza-Moore.
