More news on former NBA vet Lamar Odom. It seems as if Lamar Odom is fighting some demons because he has had nothing but bad publicity all month. First it was the cheating scandal and hard core drug abuse and now he has been busted for a DUI.

Early this Friday morning in San Fernando Valley at 3:45 am he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Odom was driving a white Mercedes G-Wagon erratically and in a "serpentine manner", said a California Highway Patrol official, he was going 50 mph on the 101 freeway, which was the reason for the stop.

Lamar didn't pull over his vehicle immediately when cops got behind him and flashed their lights; instead he drove down the freeway 3 more exits then finally pulled over. Officers said Odom was obviously intoxicated and looked the part as well.

Odom foolishly performed field sobriety tests that officers gave him and failed them all miserably, but he did refuse all breathalyzers and chemical tests, which in my opinion is the best thing he could have done. He was hauled off to a police station and booked for DUI and his bond is set at $15,000. Word is Odom is still behind bars, stay tuned for more updates.
