Former Los Angeles Lakers member Lamar Odom is on his way to full recovery, according to the photo shared by his son Lamar Odom Jr.

On Dec. 31, Lamar Jr. took to Instagram a photo of his father, showing the current status of the NBA star, following his hospitalization in October 2015. In caption, he said "Christmas with my pops. Here's to 2016. Blessed." Aside from Lamar Jr., Lamar is also joined by Destiny Odom, 17, in the said photo.

Half of Lamar's face can also be seen as his children with his partner for ten years, Liza Morales, posed behind him, according to US Magazine. The publication added that the basketball star also had a son named Jayden with the fashion designer; however, Jayden died at 6 months old due to sudden infant death syndrome way back 2006.

Morales and her children flew all the way from New York to Las Vegas to visit Lamar, after he was seen unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13. The former NBA player have been using cocaine and sexual performance enhancing supplements, according to The Wrap.

For the time being, Lamar is still married to estranged spouse Khloe Kardashian. In December 2015, Kardashian spoke about Lamar's health condition. In an interview with The Wrap, she said that Lamar was definitely doing better, which was awesome.

The television personality added that everyday was better and he was off of all machines. For Kardashian, it was great to see Lamar alive on his own and no machines helping him. While Lamar looks in good shape at present, Kardashian said that the former still had a lot of physical and cognitive therapy to go through and it as a long road for him.
