The Los Angeles Lakers (22-43) will play the San Antonio Spurs (48-16) at the AT&T Center tonight in San Antonio. The Spurs will be the big favorites for tonight's game, having one of the most impressive records in the NBA so far this season.
The game will start at 8:30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).
The San Antonio Spurs managed to extend their long-winded winning streak and maintain sole possession of the Western Conference lead by defeating two of playoff-contending teams in their last two games.
With a couple of sub-.500 opponents coming up on their schedule, the Spurs look to have a great opportunity to add to their lead and extend to their current eight-game winning streak. That stretch starts with tonight's visit from the lowly Los Angeles Lakers.
San Antonio won by the final score of 104-96 at Chicago versus the Bulls on Tuesday night. In addition, the Spurs won by the final score of 103-90 versus the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night which began a three-game homestand. The Spurs' eight straight wins came against five teams currently in playoff position. As a result, the streak have helped the Spurs maintain a one-half game in front of Oklahoma City in the West.
The Spurs also won a season high-tying seven consecutive games at home.
Los Angeles has been plagued by injuries all season, most notably Kobe Bryant's broken bone in his left knee and Steve Nash most likely missing the season due to a nerve problem in his back.
The Lakers are tied for last place in the West with Utah after they were blown out by the final score of 131-102 against the Oklahoma City Thunder last night for their 30th loss in 39 games.
Tonight's game will start at 8:30 PM ET and can be watched on TV on the NBA TV or online through live stream by clicking here.
