Newly engaged couple Lady Gaga and actor Taylor Kinney with many others reportedly jumped in a freezing cold lake to promote and support their charity. It was a charity for Special Olympics that was held every year and this year, Gaga and fiancé Kinney, before tying the knot, decided to take the plunge and jump in the cold lake!

It looked like the two had the time of their lives as it was reported that the temperature was one degree below freezing and light snow fell on the ground. It was a brave undertaking but the two celebrity personalities were brave enough to try it and take part in the fun event.

Gaga first posted a selfie photo of her, her blonde weave and her Chicago Fire zip-up hoodie while in the car seemingly ready to go to the event. She captioned the photo with: "Before the Polar Plunge..." she wrote. Afterwards, Gaga again shared on her social media what happened at the Polar plunge.

Gaga posted another photo of her showing off her wet weave as the water splashed onto her as she finally took the plunge and jumped to the lake with her beau Kinney. She wrote "My weave froze!!" on Instagram adding, "Taylor gave me his hat I thought my wig was gonna freeze into and become one with the lake."

The two reportedly jumped together as Kinney carried his future bride on his back with his shirt off then jumped together. Gaga then posted another posted of them together warm enough in their white towels provided by the charity event.

She captioned the photo: "Feels so good to do things for a good cause like the Special Olympics," Lady Gaga said on Instagram. "It's great [to] donate money, but also great to donate a gesture of love for those who deserve to be showered with it," she added.
