Lady Gaga to Host and Perform on Saturday Night Live November 16^th 2013: Gaga's First Time Hosting and Third Time Performing [PHOTO]

Lady Gaga is set to host the popular sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live in its 39^th season on November 16^th. She has appeared as the musical guest two times already in the past but has never hosted before. This time she will do both.

Ross Luippold from the Huffington Post wrote, "The episode would correspond with Lady Gaga's re-emergence after keeping a relatively low profile lately. Her new album "ARTPOP" comes out November 11, following her latest single "Applause," currently at number 4 on the Billboard charts. She'll also make her film debut in Robert Rodriguez's "Machete Kills" in October."

Gaga has appeared in several memorable sketches on SNL including several with Justin Timberlake.

The "Hunger Games" star Josh Hutcherson will also host Saturday Night Live on November 23^rd.
