Despite persistent rumors of Lady Gaga's engagement to boyfriend Taylor Kinney, the couple has remained silent about the status of their relationship. The wedding rumors started when the "Born this Way' singer was spotted shopping for wedding dresses last week with her mother. It has also been reported that Kinney was seen with a silver ring on his wedding finger.

Many are now curious whether the couple is truly engaged, or if they have already taken the plunge and gotten married without the public's knowledge. Given how notoriously private the pair is, there is much speculation that the two are already married.

Extra recently caught up with Lady Gaga's parents, Joe and Cynthia Germanotta at NYC's Lincoln Center. When asked if the singer was indeed shopping for wedding dresses, Joe laughed it off and said, "Oh no, no, no, I'm not going there. I am not going there"¦I don't know anything about nothing." Mrs. Germanotta also did not reveal anything, saying, "For sure, that's a no."

Though Lady Gaga and Kinney have yet to confirm or deny their engagement, it's clear that they are very much in love with each other. Gaga has often spoken of her wonderful relationship with the actor, while Kinney has nothing but admiration and love for the singer.

In the red carpet premiere of 'The Other Woman', Kinney's latest movie, the actor shared his thoughts about his lady love.

"It's someone who's in your corner, that believes in you and your work, and vice versa. You know, I love what she does and her work and music and charity. She inspires so many people, including myself," he stated.
