LA Dodgers Win 10 Road Games In a Row, Best Since 1945, Can They Carry This Remarkable Turn-Around Into The 2013 MLB Playoffs?

Los Angeles Dodger fans are stunned... but in the best way possible. Their team is playing great baseball right now and they have gone from one of the laughing stocks of baseball to the top of their division. No one saw this coming and the city of LA is on fire for their Dodgers again.

Manager Don Mattingly has his Dodger crew firing on all 4-cylinders right now. In an incredible show of power, the Dodgers have moved from last place to first place in the Western Division of the National League.

Yasiel Puig has been their surprise story of the year, coming out of no where to igniting the whole league. Only playing in half of the games for the first half of the season, Puig was already gets major votes for the All-Star game. Fans loved his power and flair for the game.

It has not been since 1954 that the Dodger blue have had such success on the road. Currently the Dodgers are sporting a 10-game win streak on the road. The win streak is reminiscent of the days when the Dodgers fielded such sluggers as Snider, Campanella, Furillo, Hodges and Robinson.

What is so astounding about the Dodger turnaround is that just two months ago there was serious discussion in the Dodger front office about whether they should keep Mattingly as the Manager of the team. The amazing momentum that is causing the Dodger team to speed ahead of the others must in some way be credited to the leadership which Mattingly is giving to the team. It is heartening to see how Mattingly, a perennial All-Star player with the New York Yankees, is building that same championship caliber of play in his players today!
