The Los Angeles Dodgers will go head-to-head versus the St. Louis Cardinals on October 3 at the Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The game will start at 6:37 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

Two-time NL CY Young winner Clayton Kershaw (21-3, 3.04 ERA) is looking to silence St. Louis Cardinals' (90-72) relentless squad when he starts Game 1 of the 2014 National League Division Series on Friday night.

"I think last year helped out a lot," said Kershaw to reporters in reference to his 9-0 defeat to the Cardinals in Game 6 of the 2013 NLCS.

"I had some success, obviously. And obviously, the last game was bad. So, hopefully, I know how to handle all of that and whatever happens, but I definitely hope I'm more prepared. I think experience helps, especially with the same team. We kind of have the same guys back. As far as me personally and as the team's concerned, I think we have a little bit of an idea of what's coming up."

Meanwhile, the Cardinals are looking to upset the Dodgers ace Kershaw (who is the favorite to win the 2014 Cy Young award after leading the MLB in both wins and ERA) in the best-of-5 series when the two NL squads continue their series in California.

Cardinals hope their reliable ace Adam Wainwright (20-9, 2.38) will continue his strong performance (career wise) in the playoffs in the upcoming matchup between two of the best teams in the MLB.

"I'm only facing him [Kershaw] maybe three times in the game," said Wainwright in reference to the much anticipated pitching duel. "I'm facing those Dodgers hitters. I can't worry about what he's going to do or what his job is on the mound. I have to go out there and get outs. That's what I have to do."
