Kutless Headlines Their "Believer" Tour Behind Hit Album

Oregon Rock band, Kutless has had major success with their eight album releases.

With Believer making their eighth studio album, the record reached 36 on Billboards Top 200 Albums chart and also charted the top of iTunes Christian album sales chart.

The albums first single "Carry Me to the Cross" is about what God ultimately sacrificed for us and how we need to know what it really means to surrender to Christ.

Lead singer, Jon Sumrall stated that "We wanted our name to represent the impact of what Christ did for us on the cross. Christ took our beating and paid the wages of our sin.(Roman 6:23) He took our cuts for us, leaving us "Kutless".

Believer was released in 2012 and was the follow-up album from their worship release It Is Well, with fan favorite as "Hungry".

The take-away from fans for their latest album was to have praise In God and be able to shout Hallelujah! Because it literally means the same thing in every language. Praise be to God. "Believer is an encouragement to our Brothers and Sisters in Christ" stated the band.

In most recent news for Kutless, the band is currently about to go on tour with artist Luminate, Ashes Remain and featuring N.F as well. The tour begins the beginning of Summer and lasts until Fall. Kutless just got finished touring on the "Rock and Worship Roadshow" with Luminate, Family Force5, Rhett Walker Band and Mercy Me. The tours 20+ stops made quite the impact on fans with their rock Christian music and praiseful lyrics.

Kultess "Believer" tour will include the bands new albums hit songs as well as, fan favorites from past records.

During an interview with JAM The CITY, Kutless talks the tour, their latest album, and how in the past ten years their lives have dramatically changed. "We have learned foremost that its not our will, its Gods will. God has taught us how to communicate with each other, and that ultimately we are not in charge. He is. This record is a little unique in the way that we recorded it. In this record we wanted to try different things and ended up doing six things with Chris Stevens in Nashville. We divided up the record in two, because the two different people we worked with each brought a great perspective to the album. We just want to tell people where were at. We all feel like we have had front road seats to coolest thing on earth with watching God work and shape our lives. It became clear that this album is for the Believer."

Kutless latest album is still growing in charts and is available in stores. For more information on the bands upcoming tour go HERE.
