Are they back together? Or are they just rumors? Two questions the Internet asks itself daily about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's on-again, off-again relationship.

Word on the Web is the two have been setting up secret rendezvous in various hotels for some time now. Kristen reportedly wants to stop hiding and take the relationship public. Her number one vampire, however, wants to stay under wraps for a little while longer.

A source close to R-Patt told Hollywood Life, "concealing their relationship is Rob's way of protecting their relationship."

"He has been very adamant with Kristen to keep everything hush-hush between them, and even though Kristen wants to go public, out of respect for Rob, she will continue to keep their love for each other to themselves - at least for the time being," the source added.

But how long can the former Twilight starlet sneak around with her former co-star?

"...it makes her feel like she's doing something wrong and she's not. Rob on the other hand, is being a lot more cautious and isn't ready to have everyone know his business when it comes to who he's dating," a friend of Stewarts told the gossip site.

Speculation the two were back together started in late October and early November when the couple was spotted together in public. Rumor has it the ex-couple stayed at the Viceroy Hotel in Palm Spring for a weekend together.
