Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders Out of 'Snow White' Prequel Production
Recently news broke that Snow White herself, Kristin Stewart, and Director Rupert Sanders were no longer a part of the upcoming film 'Snow White and the Huntsman', according to a Universal Pictures press release.
The film will be a prequel to the previous 'Snow White and the Huntsmen' movie which Stewart, Charlize Theron, and Chris Hemsworth starred in. The recent announcement of the studio was big news for all, since coincidentally, the two members who were involved in an illicit affair, Stewart and Sanders, were both kicked out of the production.
Stewart and Sanders were allegedly involved with each other while Sanders was married to model Liberty Ross, and Stewart was in a long-time relationship with her 'Twilight' co-actor Robert Pattinson.
Stewart won't be reprising her role as Snow White since according to the press release, the 'The Huntsman' will center on the back-story which is before Snow White comes into the plot. As for the previous director of the film, Sanders will be replaced by Frank Darabont.
The three-time Oscar nominee, Darabont is best known for his films, 'The Shawshank Redemption' and 'The Green Mile' as well as developing the renowned Television series, 'The Walking Dead'.
Pattinson, who was quiet regarding the scandal finally spoke in his Esquire UK interview, "S--- happens, you know? It's just young people... it's normal! And honestly, who gives a s---? The hardest part was talking about it afterwards," the actor said.
It was reported that Theron will definitely be returning as Ravenna, and Hemsworth will also be reprising his role as the Huntsman, Eric.
'The Huntsman' is set to premiere in theaters on April 22, 2016.
