Korn Guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch Tweets of His Cousin's Abduction in 18 Hour Long Hostage Situation, 'Please Pray for My Cousin, His Son was Kidnapped'

Brian 'Head' Welch, Christian artist and guitarist in the rock band Korn, shared on his Twitter account that his cousin's son was being held hostage by a home intruder.

The suspect, Don Pooley, held the 13-year-old boy hostage for roughly 18 hours, after fleeing one home and entering another. The boy and his mother were just coming home and Pooley grabbed him on the way in.

It has been reported by HaydenTV that the hostage was released, and Pooley has been killed.

"Arvada police tell suspect's sister 'he is not alive' as hostage situation ends in Arvada. Teenage hostage released and is ok," Hayden Tweeted.

The sister of Pooley was in communication with him all night as she tried to get him to do the right thing, KDVR reported. With a history of non-violent crimes dating back to the 90s, the suspect was concerned he would spend his life in prison.

"Let me try. I just wanna run," Pooley said in an attempt to bargain. "If you catch me, good. Then you caught me. If not, then sorry about your luck. Maybe another day."

Welch revealed this story hit close to home for him through a couple of Tweets this afternoon.
