IPL 2014 T20 Cricket Live Stream: Watch Kolkata Knight Riders vs Kings XI Punjab Online

Indian Premier League 2012 champions Kolkata Knight Riders face an uphill task when they face Kings XI Punjab in their fourth match of IPL 7 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, on Saturday.

So far, the Kolkata team has won two matches - the first game against defending champions Mumbai Indians, and the third match against formidable Royal Challenge Bangalore, but lost to the so far inconsistent Delhi Daredevils. So the question doing the rounds is whether Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's fancied team will be able to put the brakes on Glenn Maxwell and David Miller on Saturday.

Since the start of this season, Maxwell, who switched over from Mumbai Indians to Punjab this season, has been in terrific form. Maxwell has crushed all his rivals so far with his explosive batting, facilitating his team to score thumping wins over Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Maxwell has been literally toying with his rivals, scoring 279 runs in three matches with a fantastic average of 93. His power-hitting abilities are evident from the fact that he hit 28 fours and 17 over-boundaries in the last three matches. Hence, it would be interesting to watch how he plays against the clever KKR spinner Sunil Narine, who succeeded in baffling top batsmen, which remaining economical. KKR also has the services of the seasoned South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis, who has helped his team to win two of the three matches it played do far.

The good news for Punjab is that its versatile batsman Virendra Sehwag is gradually returning to form, while Miller is doing wonders with the bat and the ball. Miller has scored two half centuries so far.

Although KKR stopped Bangalore Royal Challengers on their track in a cliffhanger on Thursday, the main worry of the team is the dismal form of its skipper Gautam Gambhir, who is yet to score a run in this IPL season. To add to their worries, his tactical mistakes as the captain have cost the team its match against Delhi. While Kallis is doing his job with the bat and the ball, others like Robin Uthappa and Yusuf Pathan have failed miserably so far.

While Punjab will be depending on its batsmen to win its fourth successive match, Kolkata is hoping that its bowlers, especially Narin and Kallis will bail the team out again.

The match will begin at 6.30 P.M. local time and 2.30 P.M. GMT (10.30 A.M. ET) on Saturday and can be watched live on Skycricket.net and GoCricket.com.
