The New York Knicks (29-41) will face off against the Los Angeles Lakers (23-46) at Staples Center tonight in Los Angeles. The game will start at 10:30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The New York Knicks will attempt to start a new winning streak tonight when they battle the Los Angeles Lakers to begin their five game West Coast road trip.

On Sunday night, The Knicks lost the the Cleveland Cavaliers by the final score of 106-100.  As a result, the Knicks winning streak was snapped due the team not being able to hold on to a 17 point lead.

In addition, the Knicks blew a major opportunity to gain ground on the Atlanta Hawks who are currently ranked as the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. Furthermore, the 7th place Charlotte Bobcats also lost on Sunday night which was another opportunity the Knicks did not take advantage of.

"It's tough. We should've won this game. We gave it away," said Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony to reporters. "They earned it, they beat us. We didn't play well coming down the stretch or in the second half and they did. But it's behind us now, there's nothing we can do about that."

The Lakers are easily having one the worst seasons in franchise history.

The Lakers are not going to playoffs this year and Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash are both gone for the rest of the season due to injuries. The Lakers recently defeated the Orlando Magic by the final score of 103-94 on Sunday.
