Kingdom Release New Album "Redeemer" Which Centers On Life of Jesus Christ
Rock/worship super group Kingdom is back again with their second studio album Redeemer. The album was released Monday, November 11, 2013. Ministry is nothing new for the DREAM Records signees, as each of the mates are heavily involved in their local churches.
"We believe this music will touch many lives with the gospel message of redemption through Christ for all people," according to the band's Kickstarter page, a website that helps bands raise funds for new projects.
The songs off the new album range from a variety of different genres. Anywhere the titular hard rock track "Redeemer" to more acoustic influences on a song like "Always You."
Kingdom brought on a couple guest vocalists on their sophomore record. Run Run Run's David Curtis joins the band on the upbeat "Carry On," while Luke Caldwell, the lead singer of Esterlyn lends a hand on the folkier "Chorus of the Saints."
The lyrics are definitely a high point on the new album, with one theme threaded through the entire tracklist: the life of Jesus Christ, the great Redeemer.
Here's the entire tracklist for the new record:
1. Redeemer
2. Carry On [Feat. David Curtis]
3. Unbreakable
4. Lord of Light
5. All For Love
6. Made Alive
7. Chorus Of The Saints
8. What I've Found
9. Until The Whole World Knows
10. Always You
11. God Of Fire
