Kingdom Hearts Release Date: Developer Tatsuya Nomura at San Diego Comic Con 2014, Third Installment in Full Throttle
The San Diego Comic Con will be graced by the appearance of Tetsuya Nomura and Hideo Kojima for an autograph booth. Nomura is best known for his contribution to the 'Kingdom Hearts' franchise while Kojima from the 'Metal Gear' franchise.
With Nomura's expected appearance in the comic convention, fans are awaiting any announcements regarding the development of the highly anticipated 'Kingdom Hearts 3'.
Unfortunately for the fans, Nomura won't be going to the SDCC to release announcements. His sole purpose in visiting the SDCC will be a joint autograph session with Kojima. To qualify for a signature, attendees will have to purchase a Play Arts Kai figures at the Square Enix Booth.
Included figures will be from the 'Final Fantasy' franchise, 'Kingdom Hearts' franchise and DC Comic figures.
Fan's demand for frequent updates has been addressed by co-director of the 'Kingdom Hearts' development team, Tai Yasue. He assured fans that the development of the game is in "full-throttle" and not having daily updates from the company do not mean development has been halted.
The concern is understandable since Square Enix did not announce any updates during the E3 Convention around a month ago. The title was expected to come out late 2014, but instead of 'Kingdom Hearts 3', 'Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix' will be coming out.
The HD Remix is focused on re-introducing players to the franchise and its story before the release of the third installment.
Because of this, it is expected that the release of 'Kingdom Hearts 3' will be in 2015, but a specific date is still unknown.
