Kingdom Hearts 3 Spoilers, News: Co-Director Goes 'Full Throttle' With Production

Fans of the Kindgom Hearts series will be happy to learn that Square Enix producers have announced that will head the third installment in "full throttle." In a recent interview Tai Yasue provided details about the highly anticipated title's status.

Tai Yasue, the game's co-directer, had this to say about Kingdom Hearts III, "We've been working full throttle," he told GameInformer, "It's moving along. We structured our team in a way that development of 2.5 doesn't impede Kingdom Hearts III. I'm actually very excited about Kingdom Hearts III."

Yasue is currently working on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, which will include the Final Mix for Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth of Sleep as well as several updated cut-scenes from Re:coded. However, he made it clear that the development of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 is not getting in the way of developing the third game.

Yasue also said that Kingdom Hearts fans will get to experience a mix of old and new worlds in the new game.

"Whenever we come up with worlds for Kingdom Hearts, we want to have them be varied. You don't want the same type of world, so we will have different categories. That will make it feel fresh, like you're having an adventure," Yasue said.

Topping everything off, Yasue hinted that characters from the Disney movie, "Frozen," are set to appear in the game.

Meanwhile, Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto told The Epoch Times that development for Final Fantasy 15 is going along smoothly.

Moreinformation is expected to be released about both titles in the latter part of the year.
